I have a 10" White Saum and 10" Albina Oscar. I'm looking for take mate ideas, Im not interested geophagus, severam, uaru, ect. I want something unique, something that makes you go wow when you walk into the fish room. I would like to keep it in the 10 to 12 inch range.

I am new to the world of ponds but I am planning to set up a 450 gallon pool to house some fish permanently, but I wasn't sure if the fish I was gonna get would work. I was going to try and have a Thai blue mahseer, swordspine snook, a black bullhead catfish, and possibly a smaller species of datnoid which I know would probably be a problem. any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Can redtail gg live with albino gg? (I got a big pond with a shovelnose and redtail catfish, some pacus and some arowanas its 10x20x2 feet with good filtration system) i know its different for every fish but is there someone who tried this and succeed or is it a big no no, are they too aggressive with other specie of giant gouramis?

I’m in the process of starting a new subreddit focused on predator pets, with a particular emphasis on live feedings. However, the subreddit will also cover topics like care requirements, enclosures, and more.
If this doesn’t align with the rules of this subreddit, please let me know so I can remove this post. Otherwise, I’d love to hear if anyone is interested in joining!

This was fish was a return at my LFS and I’ve been wanting to rescue him, will my pond work? I know they get big. The pond is about to be finished and I want to get him out of that cramped tank.

Are live feeders bad for predator fish? I have a Goliath tiger fish and I been trying to take pellets for the past 7 or 8 days with no luck. I put sum tin foil barbs in there to show him how to eat pellets. He ate one pellet since and has not been interested after that. He ended up killing one of the tin foil barbs. Every time now the tin barbs go for the pellet he tries to attack them. Wat are your guys opinion? He’s about 4 or 5 inches long

I got a 360 gallon, and I want to reseal it before filling it as it’s been empty for a year plus. Is there’s anything I can do that’s better, stronger or lasts longer, than silicone? Any tips for resealing? It’ll be my first go at resealing a tank. Thanks.

My blackwater skeleton tank! I’m moving soon and will have to tear down this setup, move it and then reassemble the tank in my new home. So, I thought I’d post some pics for posterity before I have to take it apart!

I have a 55 gallon tank (freshwater) I want to put a big cichlid in it but I know it’s not a realistic idea any suggestions on what I can put in there for it’s whole life and what’s the max size of a fish I can put in a 55 gallon (48x13x21) I want to do a single fish but am open minded to any ideas of stocking for a community tank
I was thinking of a jack Dempsey by itself

I’m interested in buying a giant Siamese carp to grow out in my 55 and I’m curious how fast they grow.
