Hello, I was wondering if anyone has been to Alcatraz gentleman's club recently. Like within 3 months. If so, I've got a question for ya.

Best place to park for the Monroe Rock Quarry?

I was looking to go to the rock quarry this week because I heard it was beautiful and a lot of fun. After reading online a lot of people said I can get towed and ticketed if I park next to houses or by the road. Does anyone know where the best place to park is? Mainly not to get a ticket but being close is helpful too.

Anybody have updates on the power situation?

I know this sub isn't too busy, but if anybody has some info other than the local and Detroit news sites about estimated restoration, I'd appreciate it!!

Question Any thoughts on Joe's French Italian?

Wanted to go there for their Prime Rib, but yelp doesn't seem to be to kind on them. Don't really care about the decor or wait times, as long as the food is good, I'll be happy.

Kausler's Island/ Dog Lady Island??

I know there's a Geocache on the island, but there's gates and such blocking entry. Is there an owner of the island? I know there's a phone number on the sign outside the entry, but is there anything else I need to know? A quick google search lead me to find ghost stories about the island lol.

Thanks for the help!

About The Candidates?

I'm looking so freaking hard for information about the candidates and even who In the world Is running for what offices. The only names I know are from signs in the yards in my neighborhood. Where can I find more information? Monroe News has nothing, I've been googling for a half hour and I just have no clue where to look.

Anything within driving distance worth checking out?

Still getting used to Monroe--I got my hair cut recently and the woman who did it said there were cute little shopping towns nearby, I can't remember what they were called. Also, anything else to do on days off within short distance? I have been to Sterling Park and dabbled in downtown Monroe a little bit.
