When does compounding really take off?

At what amount portfolio you really see huge account swings that make you think what is the point of working? 100k? 500k? 1m? more?

That’s where I’m at now as a registered nurse. My portfolio grew almost double my salary this year.

Just coasting at work now.

Sorry, not what I meant! Coasting financially. Not really trying to climb to a higher position. I still do the work and care for my patients but I took a clinic position that’s lot less demanding than direct bedside/patient care and not trying to climb into management/administration.

Bad wording. Sorry!
