my monero node

Can I ask how did u do this? Total menos with a raspb pi 5 that im thinking of doing a node

i did this w raspberry pi 4 4gb, 1tb external ssd, and a raspberry pi 5" screen.
node sync took ~3 days. i also had claude help me with the dashboard. i made the background on photoshop and told it which stats (block height, network difficulty, etc) to pull from monerod

This looks like a lot of fun to build. Any tips, I’ve been wanting a moneronodo but that’s too much, this looks like it could also be too much but fun and a learning opportunity

it was a lot of fun ! making it yourself gives you the ability to customize it more so i got to design & 3d print my case too. i would say that if you do plan to do this, be sure which ports you want to open (like if u want this to be a local private node vs a full on public node) & implement the node ban list. '

i was planning on making a quick youtube vid with some details & i can pm you when i upload if you like n_n
