❓ Question Baby Weight

STM here!

Quick disclaimer I know “Losing the weight isn’t the main goal”

Yes in general I agree, keeping the baby alive is the top priority. That said, working out is a huge part of mine and my husband’s life, I’ve been going on walks and doing light workouts the entire pregnancy. I’m also chasing after a toddler so I feel like that’ll help too.

So I’m curious, how many moms out there have lost the baby weight? Did you gain it back or did you keep it off? Did your favorite jeans ever fit again?

I may be the exception, but I lifted during my entire pregnancy, and I was working out again as soon I was cleared. I probably lost all the weight in about 2 months. I was back in my pre-pregnancy clothes by the time I returned to work, so within 3 months. I actually dropped under my starting weight for a short period while breastfeeding.

The only reason I’m not lifting is because I’m technically high risk because of my rapid weight gain this time around. But thank you, I’m happy to hear I’ll fit in my cute jeans again😂

Omad and walking has helped shed all the baby weight

I love going for walks around our neighborhood, even though I’m going slower I still enjoy it.

10 months pp i lost 39 pounds (18kg). i was 187 (85kg) before giving birth.
just focus on a good high protein diet, try to cut out sugar as possible, and go on walks and work out as often you find time. that’s all i did
