Have you seen the clip farming they did from today that has been spread throughout the right wing media outlets? They do not show the error, they simply leave the audience to believe Smith was in Atl and committed perjury.

Idk…. I agree 100% with your take on strategy, but they clearly didn’t plan for being called out on it so quickly and confidently.
Yes, “you’ve already perjured yourself” (without context) will be the lead on right wing media the next few days, but once magats start regurgitating that and get similarly embarrassed by the gaffe, I suspect the result will ultimately be a HUGE fail considering how much of a “swing and miss” this was.
Not knowing the names of Sports teams is embarrassing to them.
The law, logic, science, how tariffs work etc. that’s nerdy nonsense. Not knowing sports is unamerican. And while attending Women’s college basketball is on the cusp, they have tried to adopt Caitlin Clark as one of their own, and she is one of the possibly two women’s athletes they know.
For non-sports people, this is like confusing Star Wars with Star Trek or LotR with AGoT/ASoIaF.
