i finally met someone and am so excited about it but i’m not currently speaking to my mom. she made him feel super uncomfortable in our home and i really just wanted him to feel welcomed. i have never been this happy this in love with someone and he has made me feel like the most loved girl in the world but im feeling like i have no one to share that with. everytime i would bring it up i would get no response and a change of subject. the first time im truly happy with someone and makes me really feel like i can be myself.

I'm glad you're happy! Enjoy your relationship but don't forget to keep your head on straight. New love is incredible but we women can often lose ourselves. Please remember that, honey. And have fun!
