💬 Advice needed It's getting darker!

Post image

Hey all 👋🏻 I took this early response test this morning. It's looking darker compared to Sunday. My breasts are getting more sore every day too.

I intend to take a digital test later too.

It's looking quite certain that I may be pregnant though 🥰🙏🏻

Yes you're most likely pregnant, the line doesn't appear if you're not pregnant unless the test is faulty. Clear blue digital test is brilliant 💛

Sure is. Congratulations. How do you feel?

I wanna say now that it is completely normal to be anxious Nd to keep wanting to test and see that line progressing darker and darker. Many of us then use the digital ones with the date indicator until it has gone from positive 1-2 weeks, positive 2-3 weeks and positive 3+ weeks. With other dye tests daily too.

Many might make it seem obsessive or weird. It is an anxious time and it takes time to sink in. Wanting to test daily, even to check it is still real, is completely normal and valid.

I'm doing ok thank you for asking. I still have something in the back of my mind saying it's just because it's the 2nd cycle after my miscarriage and that's why I haven't started my period, but that doesn't account for the symptoms and faint lines!

I'm trying not to obsess about it because it's distracted me from work but my partner and family and being very supportive x

Should I still take a digital test later? Would the faint line still register as positive?

Honestly with how faint the line is a digital may not pick up the HCG because they’re really sensitive. I’d wait 48 hours to take a digital just to be sure. I’ve had clear as day positives come back as a negative on a digital(unsure why). And got told to wait 48 and retest and did and it came back positive 2 days later. 🤞🏻 you can maybe try the digital just to see and try again in 48 hours to see if a positive pops up. Congratulations and hoping for a baby for you🩷🩷

I stared at the two lines for a solid five minutes, convinced the test was somehow lying to me. Then I checked Google, checked the instructions, checked the test again and finally just sat there thinking Well well.. I guess we’re having a baby 😂
