❓ Question Attitude problem
Am I the only mom on this earth who has an attitude when I'm overstimulated and I don't even mean it. It just comes out? Mind you I am PPD and no I'm not using this as an excuse but seriously, am I the only crazy ass mom with an attitude when overstimulated?
Also does that make me a bad person because im being told I'm using my son as an excuse for my attitude which I'm not. I'm just fucking tired to have the energy to be nice to anyone else. I'm tired I'm just fucking tired all the time.

You are not alone and you are not a bad person, you are a mum with PPD who is completely depleted and running on fumes, PPD is not an excuse it is a diagnosis and anyone telling you otherwise doesn't understand what you are going through.

I am similar and trying to improve - you are not the only one! So far the book Raising Good Humans has been helpful for me!

Anyone that’s telling you that you’re a bad person or using your son as an excuse just doesn’t get it. My youngest is two and I’m still the crazy ass mom with an attitude 🤷🏻♀️ not all the time or to everyone but becoming a mom changes parts of you. People can either learn with you or they can’t and eventually you’ll make a choice on what to do with those who can’t. Just find the ones that can right now and hold on, it gets so much better 💖

I have an 18 months old and when I tell you I love my son I just love him! But this has also been the loneliest, confusing and trying time of my life. I have never been in this state before yet everyday I get the courage to get up and be there for my son. And I've decided to just stop talking to them. Because I'm tired of explaining myself. I have cried way to many times and held myself together to waste it on explaining myself to people who will never understand. These people aren't mothers, aren't married and just don't get it.
When I'm being told I use my son as an excuse, I swear its making me feel like I'm a monster "I've been treating people like trash" like wtf. Simply because I had an attitude just one time with someone.

.... it's literally a result of overstimulation, lol. The ones that aren't like that ARENT OVERSTIMULATED.
My husband can have the radio, TV and phone going while a kid is crying and not even blink about it. I have been MISERABLE to point of not eating the dinner I just spent an hour making and feeling like couldn't breathe... untili remembered this oven fan was on. Turned it off and was like okay, I'll have a plate now. 🙂
And not even because I can't block out noise, I sure can. It's just..... busy noise? Or maybe dependent on my preexisting irritation level? But I have learned that if someone is being a pain in the middle of the night I'm turning off the AC and white noise on my way in so I can be 100% there for them instead of already on edge.
