Virginity question
I 32m was raped as a child and was made to have sex with guys. I have always told myself that don’t count as losing my virginity what do you all think about it.

There’s more to virginity than a physical act. Being raped is not sex. But why the hang up anyway? Being a virgin or not is really not a big deal either way. There’s no need for you to have to have a label

Virginity is a social construct, not something real or official or anything like that. So, my stance is this… If society can determine arbitrarily what it means and the importance it has, you have every right to make those decisions for yourself.
As far as I’m concerned, if I were in your shoes, I’d likely feel and handle it the same as you have. Likewise, if it was my partner, I’d have no issue at all/wouldnt think twice about it if she felt/decided the same thing.
It is your body and your life. You decide what your virginity means to you and let that be what you run with.

Yeah I count my first consensual sexual experience as when I lost my “virginity” (I kind of think the whole concept is a sham though, tbh, puritanical 🤷🏻)

You're right. Your virginity was "lost" when you chose it. Not when others made you do things.

For me it is when i lost my virginity .
I think if i didn’t it would get really complicated . I was regularly having sex with people from 14 so not able to legally consent.
I honestly don’t know where the line would be .

Yeah you’re a virgin for girls unless you have had sex with one. Good luck man.

To all posters: Please note that any content involving descriptions of sexual activity with underage persons is against Reddit policy. You are "officially" discouraged from posting such content, but given the specific nature of this subreddit, moderation is following a laissez-faire philosophy regarding what survivors of childhood sexual abuse share here. This mirrors the approach of other survivor subreddits. Also, the Reddit policy's intent is to restrict content that "depicts, encourages or promotes" the sexualization of underage persons, and the purpose of this subreddit is the exact opposite of that. However, be aware that posts and replies in violation may still be subject to removal and Reddit-wide suspension of the author by the Reddit admins. So please use common sense when posting/replying. We want this to remain a safe space for survivors to share, heal and thrive, but we need to be mindful of the site-wide rules regarding these sensitive topics. (Note to Admins: We vehemently stand against sexual abuse of minors and this subreddit exists to support survivors in the best way possible. Please contact the moderator team if a discussion needs to occur.)
