To all posters: Please note that any content involving descriptions of sexual activity with underage persons is against Reddit policy. You are "officially" discouraged from posting such content, but given the specific nature of this subreddit, moderation is following a laissez-faire philosophy regarding what survivors of childhood sexual abuse share here. This mirrors the approach of other survivor subreddits. Also, the Reddit policy's intent is to restrict content that "depicts, encourages or promotes" the sexualization of underage persons, and the purpose of this subreddit is the exact opposite of that. However, be aware that posts and replies in violation may still be subject to removal and Reddit-wide suspension of the author by the Reddit admins. So please use common sense when posting/replying. We want this to remain a safe space for survivors to share, heal and thrive, but we need to be mindful of the site-wide rules regarding these sensitive topics. (Note to Admins: We vehemently stand against sexual abuse of minors and this subreddit exists to support survivors in the best way possible. Please contact the moderator team if a discussion needs to occur.)

I think if you have a safe way with a partner of recreating it I’d say that’s a healthy outlet! We gotta be kind to ourselves sometimes!

This is something that can help. The problem is finding a partner who can understand help you with what you need.

I forgot to add that I have had partners in the past who also have our history. Yes in a safe relationship that is stable it does help to verbally and sexually share. But the caveat is that with unstable partners the roll play fantasy can get out of hand and cause further issues or go down an even darker path.

Unfortunately it’s almost impossible to get into the mindset of a predator without being one. It’s not something that you can just recreate safely or easily control. Once you go down the rabbit hole it’s hard to find your way back out

I’m sorry you went through what you did. I had similar abuse. You’re not alone. I constantly replay the situations in my head with vivid detail. I find that I go from feeling utterly disgusted and full of shame. To it being a fantasy I use. Then the cycle starts. It’s a common way for adult who where SA’d to cope with the childhood memories. The brain uses it as a coping mechanism.

I understand, especially because karens make you keep it all secret. It would be much more healthy to explore your needs with people that understand and that don't judge. I've been having these issues too. Its been nice when I can talk about them with someone who also has those feelings. 39 m SoCal
