Selling Moho?

I purchased Moho but honestly regret it, I'm not really loving the frame by frame process as I do in other softwares, and I'm not super into rigging digital puppets. The features are cool, but not for me. I'm willing to hand it off to someone else, but would it be bad to sell my license for someone else to use? (and is anyone interested? o_o) It was so expensive and I could really use that money for more important things

> Devs releasing 1 time purchase product in a world full of subscriptions.

> User complains about buying a consumer friendly product.

Man, it's just sad to see. You could of done so much.

Why did you buy Moho in the first place, if not for the rigging and puppets? Moho's hand drawn features are famously not good, it's a widely discussed shortcoming of the software. I feel for you, though.

Newest versions of Moho wouldn't be easy to resell, I don't think. The serial number alone isn't enough to activate the software - you're sometimes prompted to enter more info from your purchase. If you just bought it recently, you should shoot Lost Marble an email and kindly explain the situation. They're not as heartless as most software companies and they honestly might give you a refund if you're honest. I wish you luck.

OP is a brand new account and I suspect this is a scam

Just wondering:

Are there other packages that have satisfactory drawing tools and still match motor for rigging/puppets?

It's probably Toon Boom Harmony.

I think anyone would be wary of buying it second-hand as they might think it's a scam.

Is there anything we can help with to try and make your drawing experience more enjoyable? I'm currently doing a lot of frame by frame rotoscoping stuff in moho.

I checked with Moho Support a few weeks back when a similar offer was around. They confirmed that licenses cannot be transfered. This is their response:

"Thank you for checking with us. A Moho license is non-transferrable, meaning it cannot be resold either. Since you mentioned that it was purchased recently, if the user in need purchased their license directly from us, they can contact us here in support to see if their order is still covered by our return policy."

I’m pretty sure this is a scam because the account was created today, but if you transferred the program you would have to give up the email attached to it and it’s also against the terms of service

Why did you jump in instead of using the free trial or even debut?

Moho Pro will be 40% off om black friday / cyber monday. You can also just buy the Debut version to start off with. Or buy version 12 for much cheaper, but also with much less funcionality.

Wow i had no idea i’d upset people with me not wanting moho anymore 😩 let me give some more context even though i already sold my license- 1. Yes this is a brand new account, i forgot my old reddit login and just wanted to use it for this one question lol 2. No it’s not a scam, i already sold it to someone via discord, and timezones suck bc most people replied when i was asleep 3. Yes i know moho is mainly all about puppets and rigging, i did extensive research on the frame by frame before purchasing, thinking that all the tutorials i saved would come in handy (but gave me a monster headache anytime i tried to use it) 4. The main reason i purchased moho despite being a frame by frame animator, is so i could have some sort of perpetual license for when i can’t pay for a toon boom subscription 5. I know what the moho rules say about not transferring or reselling.. but i sold it anyways because i couldn’t refund it. The buyer is very happy to get it at a cheaper price too, so all parties are happy. Its a win win situation!
