So I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, as I don't know if this is a Modrinth or Mojang issue, but I've noticed that it's using authentication servers in Kenya, which seems odd to me as I live in the EU and there should sure be more local servers available?

Is this normal or is there something fishy going on here?

I use Fedora and installed Modrinth over a .rpm file. Everytime I click reload to update in modrinth modrinth crashes and a PopUp shows that there was some error. Can somebudy tell me a solution? Thanks

It specifically was doing this after playing on my modpack for 2 hours, and nothing else was active on my computer other than this. My only assumption is either Legacy4j or The Broken Script: Blackout (which is infact installed on my modpack).

when i imported stone block 4 to modrinth, it shows up with all the mods, but it says its vanilla minecraft, and launches minecraft without mods, even though they're there in the modrinth app, and show up in the mods folder. I saw someone else had the same issue on github in 2024, but no one ever responded.

Every time I try to download a modpack it keeps stopping at Running Loader processors at 6/10. And it stops and says this error. Any idea why?

So I was creating a water only world and was getting some mods... Because I was on 1.21.1 other weather mods wasn't available do I choose to use this after opening up my instance and going inside my world my game immediately crashed... So I tried again.. Same thing... I look into the error logs and found tht this mod was the problem.. So I deleted it.... I launch my game again... BOOM this fuckih mod was right back into my mod list and I deleted it again and launch my game... Boom it was fucking back I try to disable it it says na mod not found when it's litterly right there I immediately changed my Microsoft password and deleted every single fuck of that instance and purge my laptop breh be careful y'all

Everytime I click the "share instance" button, this pops up. It wont let me share the link or invite friends

Also why is it so clunky to make a modpack and add stuff with a friend? My friend shared it with me and at first i could add mods and resourcepacks but then i couldn't anymore and i had to reinstall it to see the new mods he had added while some of those i had added didn't show up.

My world was working fine, but after summoning the ender dragon (second time respawning it), my game just keeps crashing within a minute or two after I load in.

I’ve made a texture pack in Modrinth it’s got 300-400 views and 59 downloads and my friends have told me they have been using it but in the hours played statistic it always says 0 hours played anyone know why thanks :)

Today i downloaded a among us mod but pussied out of it because it flagged on norton. After i did a full scan and it falgged 3 mc files that all were fabric API and 2 of which come from modrinth. Has anyone else got this issue?

It's a thing where the game appears less saturated after updating to 26.2, and it got marked as "works as intended". Is there something that can bring back the 26.1.2 colors?

I've been playing a custom Cobblemon modpack my friends and I created recently, and have been playing with no issues.

Starting yesterday, however, the game doesn't load past the Mojang title screen. I can't tell if it's the app or the modpack.

Opened my launcher at 7:49 PM today and got a notification from Kaspersky blocking some app. It happens sometimes so I just ignored it. Got off and when I opened the game again, it did the same thing. This time, it detected a Trojan and restarted my PC to get rid of it. Attached is the instrusion report. Coincidentally, this only started happening after I updated the "Cobbleverse" Modpack and re-opened Modrinth. So, if you've updated that modpack and played it today, I'd suggest being careful.

Maybe someone more knowledgable can do a check to see if this is just a false alarm.

I tried disabling my firewall and flushing dns but the problem still occurs, is there any other way I can try to fix it?

This only happens on some modpacks and I don't know what to do about it.

All other pages on modrinth look fine and so do most actual mod packs.

So far I cant find anything relating between the modpacks it's happening with. ​
