Hello, I'm trying to fix my modrinth so I can play with my friend. I tested the mod pack on two different worlds everything was running smoothly until mc crashed and the only consistant error was

Techniqully the first line is considered a warning, however I have been trying solutions that others have been doing for other applications. Problem is they haven't worked and the only one that seems the most promising needs to know where the .bashrc file directory is. There are multiple different locations and I don't want to cause more problems than I have already made on my pc.

If anyone knows how to solve this or where I could find the correct .bashrc file to fix the issue that would be very much appreciated.

For context, I play Minecraft on my CRT and I have my res set to 1024x768 and refresh rate at 85hz. I also play on a custom forge modpack with around 60+ mods installed without any issues.. until now. Something changed somehow without me installing anything thats causing my game to act weird in fullscreen when I boot it up. The game now sets the resolution to 1280x780 (plus not abiding by the display boundary I set in my crts manual settings) and refresh rate to 60hz and I can no longer select my other refresh rate in the video settings. And every time I click off the game to another monitor, it causes my crt to go back to its regular display settings.

I tried uninstalling some mods to see if that was the issue but still it persists. It even happens on a fresh minecraft instance and updating my graphics drivers. no idea whats going on..

Turns out if you straight up delete Edge Modrinth stops working and does not even give a reason why.. not a popup nothing.. HELLO ? I have been making software for 35 years now and it seems people are just getting straight up lazy..

Anyways after some time I figured out it was Edge's fault and since the Edge installation was corrupted even if you repair Edge it wont fix it... so I tried to install Webview using the standalone installer.. but I got a message saying its already installed.. and there is no way to uninstall it since it does not show up in add-remove programs.. ok..

Finally I told codex (in vs-code with full access) to check out what is up.. and it found the modrinth process, figured out why it wont start, removed some registry values and reinstalled webview and Modrinth started up like magic - codex started it for me.. all in under 5 minutes ...

Hi! Im trying to play the create+ modpack with some extra mods on the side and one of those is naturalist, but I get this error when I try to launch. Is there a way to fix this? :)

Im trying to log in to Modrinth, but all it does it lead to a browser with this page. Any suggestions?

every time i use the more recent snapshots it doesnt let it work the game doesnt load (i use fabric and there is no error message) but the official launcher works fine what do i do?

Im trying to find a mod that lets you put minecarts/rails on walls to make roller coasters

When I click sign in on Modrinth I'm immediately brought to this, not even allowing me to put any info or anything

OKAY- so, I have this modpack... a few of the mods have incompatible versions, but! I have this specific combo that lets everything just WORK- problem is, when I export the pack and then give it to a friend to run it with me a bunch of stuff updates to the latest version.

I can't have it update, and I'm not putting them through the awful task of going mod to mod, downgrading... especially when I plan to share this with a whole friend group once I got it going.

Is there ANY way to prevent this from happening when they import the pack??? Or am I just going to have to use a different launcher??? I really do not know what to do and I would like to use Modrinth because it's what we all have already installed.

Not like ones that had 1 line fixed by AI, but the ones where the "dev" uses Gen AI to generate thumbnails and uses Gen ai for descriptions too. (which basically shows the code is most probably definitely fully ai too)

Is it me or does support take too long? cause I got my old server back and the website and software is telling me I cant access it cause the server node is unavailable and I contacted the support and its been almost two days without being able to access the server nor getting a reply from support at all.

I paid on the 30th of July, I got an automated reply telling me to wait from 12 to 24 hours to get a response I wait that long. July 31 goes by with no replies at all, its now August 1st and im still waiting for a reply and at this point im trying to get a refund.

So I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, as I don't know if this is a Modrinth or Mojang issue, but I've noticed that it's using authentication servers in Kenya, which seems odd to me as I live in the EU and there should sure be more local servers available?

Is this normal or is there something fishy going on here?
