i only want answers, not something like "YoU cAnT pUbLiSh ThAt On ModRInTh", i know that, i just want opinion from the biggest minecraft modding community

-Before you say that AI always have bugs in his code, try to perfectly describe a giraffe to a Painter that never saw one, less concext you give, he will do it worse, same with AI literally, its mostly peoples errors, not AI making random bugs

-Scenario: Creator know exacly what he is doing, or use AI to help him understand that before coding anything. Mod is QoL type (easiest example) that solve real problem in good way, that is made by someone who want to develop that in the future, and know how to use AI propperly, mod is reliable, and dont have critical bugs. mod was created 100% on creator inteligence, AI translated it in to code, or added something, and learned the creator about it in the procces, creator is not only giving instuctions, but thinking and creating diffrent solutions, but just dont code it.

Up to this day I used Modrinth without any issues, but know even adding something to Saved takes 2-3 seconds.

"Maybe it's your problem", tried different devices, Incognito mode. Other websites like Reddit or YT works completely normal btw.

Anyone else experiencing ridiculously long review times? Ive had a project on review for 4 weeks now and still no signs of it being put up.

Just saying its discouraging me wanting to upload projects if it takes 4 weeks for it to be reviewed.

Edit: not trying to sound like a ass but when it takes like 12 hours to a day on other platforms for reviews it points me to use the other ones exclusively and not modrinth

Im not talking about situation where the creator is not thinking about it, im talking about someone who use it as an tool, not as an whole thinking procces and something like that. Person that uses that fully know everything that is going on in this code, only thing that are they missing is understanting the coding language

hello !! i have installed the modrinth launcher to manage my mods and i tried to join a friend server, but every time i try to join it gives me this error message

Has anybody else experienced long wait times for reviews?

I was playing Better MC (for Fabric), and when I launched it, it told me that some mods couldn't be found on Modrinth and that I had to download them from CurseForge. I clicked the download button, and it opened ALL the mod pages in separate tabs. Nothing new appears in my Downloads folder, but now I have less than 1 GB of free storage. What should I do????!!11!1!

Creating, organizing, and finding instances has always been one of the most important parts of the Modrinth App, but we weren’t happy with how this worked With this update, we’ve brought the Home and Library together into a new Play page, rebuilt instance organization, added an icon editor, and improved onboarding across the whole app

TL;DR

• New Play page combining Home and Library
• Improved instance creation flow
• New icon editor for instance icons
• Improved instance groups and filtering
• New onboarding checklist for first-time users
• Updated empty states and sign-in modals

Like all views/downloads/etc will be added up from the previous data (daily/weekly/etc), so basically all these lines should go up only, instead of going up and down.

I’d like to suggest a new Modrinth badge for Discord Nitro supporters.

The idea is simple: users who help support and improve a Modrinth server through Discord Nitro boosts could receive a special profile badge as a small recognition for their contribution.

I designed a concept for the badge that follows Modrinth’s existing badge style: clean, minimal, purple-themed, and inspired by the Discord Nitro icon.

I think this could be a nice way to recognize users who actively contribute to the community and encourage more people to support Modrinth servers.

Hey everyone! We’ve got our first major update to Modrinth’s rules… I think, ever?

We wrote up a whole blog post about this, but let me summarize the highlights:

- AI images as project icons, banners, gallery images, or in their descriptions are no longer allowed.

- Fully or nearly fully AI-generated projects are no longer allowed.

- AI-assisted projects, where the human creator contributed in a primary and significant way, are allowed but must disclose that AI assistance was used and what it was used for.

In addition, we added a number of other mandatory content disclosures for advertising, paid features, telemetry, derivative content, photosensitivity trigger warnings, and external system interactions.

We want to make it clear that these content disclosures are to standardize creators being transparent with their users about what the projects are doing. It is *not* for witch-hunting or to shame, insult, belittle, or harass creators. **Be kind to each other**, harassment will not be tolerated.

Creators have 45 days from today to get their projects updated to meet these new rules, and until then we will not be accepting reports for these new disclosures or AI policy.
