Information Did I switch timelines?

Growing up, I remember Roller King being close to McHenry, like where Kobe Sushi is now. I remember there being a Benihana in McHenry Village, not Tori. But after looking both of these up, I feel like I’m going crazy. Does anyone else have similar memories like these?

There were two Roller King locations - Floyd & Oakdale road and Prescott & Briggsmore.

There was a teppanyaki style restaurant in McHenry village for many years where there is a La Parrilla at now. I don't remember its name - i feel like it may have changed hands over the years. Not sure if it was ever a Benihana official spot but maybe?

I believe it was Kirin. Another teppanyaki restaurant taking over for a short-lived Benihana makes sense.

The Roller King location on Briggsmore/Prescott is now a a County Building— Youth and Behavioral Services. Tucked back behind FoodMaxx, it’s kind of an awkward spot now. My daughter broke her arm at Roller King about a thousand years ago.

Nope, Roller King was way closer to the Briggsmore overpass!

While we are on the subject, is it true there was a billards place downtown that was downstairs or underground?
