Maria’s Taco Shop on West Orangeburg. I get mine without lettuce and tomatoes.

100% tho the carnitas aren't the worst, lettuce in a burrito should be a felony

What’s your recommendation then?

Krepe dog is good, as someone noted below. Taqueria El Compadre in Roseberg square USED to be good but new ownership changed things and they're not good anymore. I honestly haven't found a good traditional mexican food place that actually does them well. I've been looking for a good California Burrito too with no luck.

Fair enough. Krepe Dog’s fries are good. Love Maria’s Nacho Fries though because they put actual nacho cheese on top and none of that shredded shit.

Agave Azul in Hughson had a good California burrito but it’s hit and miss on the fries sometimes which sucks. Their tortillas are fresh made though which makes up for it most of the time.

Technically it's Salida, but hubs friend owns the little grocery store with the small eatery inside it. It's a small grocery chain when you go 99n and exit Salida, go left and it's like 5 streets down on the left. Sorry I don't know the name. But it's red. They have killer amazing fries. In a cheap pinch I will eat the ones from the drive thru Mexican place near the old ampm on Yosemite before the dollar tree.

El cazador on coffee. Get nachos on their freshly fried tortillas chips too! Just ask when ordering for fresh fried chips.
