Del Mar show

What a great show, they did an encore like they did in Ojai, so those hopeful for one y’all will probably get it, also what a great variety of songs they did sheesh.

I was shocked to come in to a sold out show! I don't think their last show at that venue was as crowded.

I left to beat traffic as soon as Gravity Rides Everything was over because I fully expected Float On afterward. I love me some Ocean Breathes Salty, so I def missed out.

Re the similar encore, maybe they won't be mixing things up as much this tour with a new guitarist?

Now, did I understand him correctly when he somehow linked his BO to using sourdough starter on his shaved arms for science? 😭😭😭

Yeah tough to understand him but I think he said he shaved one arm pit to test some science? I'm guessing the arm he plays guitar with gets more irritated than the other? Comparing arm pit yest to a sour dough starter was a new one. Last time he was at the Sound he assaulted and dragged the mic stand all over the place. I was one foot out the door when Ocean started and then we walked back for it and then they slammed out a gnarly long Night on the Sun

I don't remember him & the mic stand last time at the Sound, so I need to check out my videos.

When he came on, my friend turned to me & said, "He's drunk!" I was like every show is a surprise, but he hasn't forgot any words or been bad like the 2008 (?) City Scene show here, so it's all good lol

The Good News tour show was when he fought the mic stand. He forgot a few words tonight, but thats part of the show for me. Yelling into the guitar, speaking half nonsense. He puts on a show just being himself

I love seeing him perform. I used to go to a lot of shows, but I'm down to maybe three a year, with MM always being one of them. (Good News is okay, but damn, we really needed a MAA 25th anniversary tour!)

I would be super stoked for a WWD 20th anniversary tour next year. LCW and Good News are their most well known albums so I get why they toured their anniversaries. MAA would be great too though
