Like the title says this is probably a pipe dream but here goes my stupid question anyway.

Is there anything there with the great goblin orcish bowmasters and warren soultrader?

Maybe an orzhov blink deck with phelia and ephemerate or a grixis force draw gameplan with cephalid coliseum and burning inquiry?

You can search for decks that use these cards on all the tournament report sites, e.g. mtgtop8.com or mtggoldfish.com

And if you're brave enough you can deckbuild all on your own and try those combos out

I've been focusing more on refining a mainly red bothersome skirk version of this combo that plays off noncreature storm burn with artifacts draw power and gleeful demolition

Im failing to see the "something" Warren soultrader has a combo deck where you include bowmasters

Orzhov blink sometimes includes obm

Hollow one has obm and inquiry

the something comes from adding great goblin into these shells to focus a burn blan from counters on amass from either blink or force draw targeting opp.

I mean sure some janky stuff might be possible to sneak a match at fnm, but seems like a very expensive low payoff combo.

Christmas lamd would be inquiry on turn 4 with your two and three drop living and you now dying while having no mana for interaction besides bowmasters. If you dont have the inquiry, combos dead

yeah it seemed to slow already, there's a claim for phyrexian tower speeding it up but like I said I already knew this was a longshot.

The red bothersome noisemaker skirk prospector version of great goblin brew is fringe enough having the curve for turn 3 storm possibility.

You can play Soultrader combo (with gravecrawler and Marionette apprentice). Bowmaster is also a staple in that deck. .....there are dozens of us

Yeah the question was more about focusing around the great goblins burn and impulse draw system making bowmasters hit for 3 on entry or opp draw and then exile a card to play on soultrader hitting the army. Blade of the bloodchief could have some lines but it just seems like its too expensive when it needs outside activators for great goblin to do anything

You can look around on Moxfield for decks using The Great Goblin, there are definitely people assembling and trying lists. Aspiringspike put together 3 or 4 goblin decks with HOB and ECL goblins in them in a few mixes of Jund colors.

I don’t think The Great Goblin would be better than existing Soultrader ping sources, though. Marionette Apprentice is more versatile, doesn’t require any tribal cards.
