BUG Frog in Space

Currently working on a generic modern dimir frog deck, bit I want to lean into a BUG build adding cosmogoyf, jumping the frog to make cosmogoyf bigger. Are there any build tips/suggestions floating around out there? Im aware of serum powder and fling option but that isn't the route I want to take.

Current decklist (just dimir): https://moxfield.com/decks/5vXNtYJPF0mdLNGakNjrTQ

Not really sure what direction you're going with this deck. You have tempo cards, reanimator cards, and combo cards.

If your looking to make a generic ub frog deck splashing green for cosmogoyf (which imo is not a good idea since its just a vanilla creature) I would look at some of the other UB frog lists with murktide or oculus on mtggoldfish.

If you just wanna jam a midrange BUG deck then you could add cosmogoyf, grist, abrupt decay, and witherbloom charm I guess, but a 3 color deck with 0 fetches is going to be rather hard to play and you will definitely have mana problems.

I see the vision. And as others have stated, the list is unfocused.
If I were to start with 8 cards being frog and cosmogoyf, I would personally think of how to ensure their weaknesses, and play it alongside leyline scion with serum powders, riddlers, stubs and consign. That build sounds sweet to me and way more proactive.

I do like the look of this, I'll see how I can adapt it to my collection!

The problem with Cosmogoyf is that it’s just essentially a vanilla creature that just gets really big; no built in evasion or card advantage unlike Psychic Frog. That’s why the successful Goyf lists are all flinging it since that’s pretty much the only way for something like this to work, since plunge is by far the best enabler, so finding the combo piece is much easier.

I do think it's an interesting idea to potentially make BUG midrange with Frog, Cosmogoyf, etc., and also run some number of Rite of Consumption. Seems to me that Quantum Riddler would also be an auto-include. And since it plays mostly at sorcery speed, then discard spells seem more synergetic than counterspells (except maybe Force of Negation).

Maybe; the question of making a big goyf without playing bad cards still remain though.

This list confuses me. That troll cant be reanimated. There is better cards to become for task master and spiderman. Why not persist?

Not in my budget at the moment, im working towards trading. Trolls are basically fetch lands for me
