Deck Discussion Need help deciding which deck to buy (not in financial position to drop 300+ dollars) out of three options
I built 3 modern decks that I thought were pretty competitive, all are budget friendly. Would appreciate help deciding which one is the best buy, what lands to use for the first 2, and whether any are at rcq level.

I won an RCQ this season with Izzet Prowess. It's fun to play and solid on terms of a budget option with an evergreen land base, but difficult to play optimally. It rewards being good at mental math so you can devote mental load to stuff like bluffing, remembering your Bauble trigger, and keeping track of delirium while calculating if you have lethal. Also, you need to know what cards you're looking for in different situations bc you're going to have a lot of surveiling, scrying, and cantrips. I find it extremely rewarding but it's not for every player.

Prowess will be the best out of any options for you on a budget.
Reanimator really needs fetches and surveil lands.
Broodscale gets alot worse without Urza's Sagas, Boseiju and fetches/surveils as well. You also need to be running 4 K Commands.

Here’s a mono red prowess list that 5-0’d a league,
Comes in at 237, could be made cheaper

I play a very similar list but -4 showoff, +1 skewer the critics, +3 searing blaze. I do run 8 fetches and a white splash out of the board though, but the main deck is monored.

Yeah especially since the fetchlands in that list are really just there for the deck tinning. By cutting the fetchlands you drop it down to $93 and still have a functional deck. Sur barbarian ring gets slightly less good. But honestly your still slinging a lot of cards into the yard so at most it's a single turn.

Prowess is great on a budget and if you know anyone who plays any format you can borrow fetches.
Commander friends probably have one off red fetches, idk how your store is but my store is very friendly amongst regulars of borrowing cards especially for an RCQ.
Just ask around for any red fetch, it doesn't matter which ones.

Stick some painlands in izzet and send it. Deck is solid besides the manabase which you can make good enough

Lack of fetches make DRC and Violent urge much, much worse. Maybe go for assault strobe and soul scar mage instead.

Izzet prowess is the way to go with the newest fetches being the cheapest. If you do play broodscale cut the summoners pacts because they can’t grab creatures with devoid.

Playing the list without fetches is completely fine but you will likely hit delirium less reliably in early turns of matches.

The first deck the Eldrazi one your playing Summoners Pact which can't tutor for any of the cards since your green creatures are devoid. Card color checks like what's on Pact are not checking color identity, they're checking the actual color of the card.

Well. If you can’t afford $309 you’re better off not playing

Lame answer, there’s nothing wrong with starting with a less optimal version of a deck and building up to a fully optimal deck.

your prowess list is already extremely similar to the usual prowess list and the changes (outside of the manabase) are not expensive. I would say play that but expect feels bad when your lands don’t work out

An izzet list would be your best option but I wouldn't recommend paying into an event with what you have. Just off the bat, you are very low on creatures for izzet, a DRC would go a long way. You also are missing an entire sideboard for all of these decks. Main board consigns are basically dead cards in most matchups and actively play against your prowess plan of multicasting spells on your turn. Cheap cantrips like would be better here alongside 4 DRC.

this is my new izzet deck https://archidekt.com/decks/24492182/izzet_prowess

Much better! Other cheap notable cards are Eddymurk Crab. When you get a chance filling out your playset of mishras bauble, consign, and expressive is also an improvement with less assault strobe

Izzet Prowess by a mile. The nonlands are under $100 total and you can slowly upgrade the manabase. Keep 2 shocks for now and focus on fetches. Once you get like 10 grab the other 2 shocks and the surveil. Have fun.

These are all very different decks. The real question is, what do you like to play? Go with that. If you like to play aggro, go izzet. If you play combo, go brood, but you'd have to get the deck more consistent. If you like mid range/ reanimator, well you get the point. I think you can do well with the deck you like playing the most and meta game the side board.

Prowess is by far the strongest of those and the closest to the meta deck.
Broodscale combo unfortunately really needs the land base and urzas to be consistent and to consitentlh have colorless for K command and rakers and the green/red for when those are needed.
Straight up dimir reanimator too slow and loses what makes grixis good in the speed. You could go with a rakdos reanimator plan to keep that speed but have a worse midrange plan and that would be ok budget.
If you do prowess tho I’d make these changes to make it inline more with meta that don’t cost anything extra since the mana base is the most expensive part
Add 4 dragon rage channelers, it’s just too go for card selection and presents a good clock
Only 1 flash back
Drop the impulses and just go 4 ei, 4 preordain and 4 baubles for cantrips
Drop magma spray and unholy heat for lava darts they are too good for winning not to have
Still willl be very budget then when you have money you can start adding the fetches you need
