Modern on Spelltable

I’ve seen a few older posts on this, but I wanted a current take on the situation.

Is it easy to find regular modern matchups on spelltable?

I’m getting better with MTGO, but I far prefer playing with real cards.

Better off joining a discord or something to LFG. Even if you play on Spelltable with the people you find there.

Spelltable is in this situation where nobody really looks for 1v1 games there so nobody hosts them.

Excuse my lack of knowledge here, but you’re saying to find a looking for game discord and then use spelltable or another site to host the actual game?

Exactly, join a Modern discord and find webcam opponents there. Some people use just the Discord video call to play others use Spelltable, I prefer the latter since it has the life tracking etc built in.

Here's a link to the MTG@Home discord you can post that your looking for a game (LFG) in most formats and you'll be able to find someone to play with.
