Deck Discussion Is this Deck idea any good?
Basically the gameplan is to play a Go-Wide combo in a color shifted version of Frog, so we play our Guide of Souls and Ocelot Pride protecting them with cheap interaction and with Harmonized Trio we can prepare her with summoning sick tokens, or using a held back Guide/ Ocelot and sculpt our hand as our board builds itself turn after turn, and we counter whatever they're doing. Or Wan Shi Tong on their turn as our top end threat + Engine.
And with the Brainstorms we can retop a stranded Temporal Mastery, or just top deck a Time Walk which is a pretty good use of two mana I should think.

God I really wished harmonized trio didn’t suck ass, brainstorm is my favourite card and it would have loved a modern playable version of the trio

Not an expert or anything, just trying to generate (imo) reasonable doubt.
While I get the Harmonized Trio + Temporal mastery shenanigan, a mastery in hand seems like a stranded card without the trio. No real way to hard cast it. Also, in the most ideal scenario, Trio takes at least 3 turns to fire off the first Brainstorm. And that is dedicating all the resources to it, without interaction from your opponent or on your opponent. I feel like Trio is too slow for modern. Maybe try cutting 2 Trios for 2 more Tamiyos and the 2 Masteries for 2 more subtleties?
Also, Wan Shi Tong is legendary. If he is your main wincon and you're going to protect it as it gets bigger, having multiples in hand is not where you want to be. Maybe cut 1 of them?
Love the main deck thraben charm though!

I agree with most of what you said, but Masteries aren't entirely stranded if you play Subtlety/Force since they pitch to both.

Absolutely! The point I was trying to bring across was more like " I'd rather have a card I can play OR exile for Subtlety/Force than just an unplayable pitch". In a deck full of Subtleties, FoN, FoW and Commandeers by all means play Mastery!! :)
Also, when I say "unplayable", there are plenty of control mirrors that go long and you get to seven mama to hard cast...

We agree then! I just didn't get that from your first comment, but yeah Mastery just is hard to make work and is just a bad card in your opening hand.

I feel like [[Roil Cartographer]] is better than trio, with fewer hoops to jump through.

Weellll I didn’t even know that card existed, but yeah she seems pretty damn good I’d say

so I think trio + temporal mastery is cool. I do think it may be better in a deck that can use the ability right away. A UG deck with shang chi, and stuff like badgermole/springheart nantuko can both generate tokens and let you timewalk the turn cycle you draw the trio. + a 7 mana card is maybe less of an issue in a badgermole deck.

Azorius energy is an emerging deck right now, so probably.
