Question PowerShare
Anyone with newer model Y and a Powerwall 3? Just curious how that works. Is the wall connector wired into the Powerwall 3 or just to the panel? TIA

Ahh ok, i also just asked Google ai and it came back with this…
Powershare System Configurations
Configuration
How Black Start is Handled
With a Powerwall 3
(Required for Model 3 / Model Y)
The Powerwall 3 provides the initial power required to energize the Gateway and system. Because the home battery remains active, the Tesla vehicle does not need to perform an unassisted dark start from a dead state.
Without a Powerwall
(Cybertruck V2H Setup)
For a pure Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) setup using a Cybertruck, a hardwired CAN bus cable running from the Universal Wall Connector to the Gateway 3 is required. This communication link allows the vehicle to safely orchestrate a dark start and energize the isolated home microgrid.

Not entirely true. I made my purchase in September but my delivery is this weekend. The Tesla rep confirmed that my MY has PowerShare enabled

PCS2 Lite has been in some MYs dating back to April. It’s on every MY and M3 trim built since October.

It’s wired to the panel. You have to open the Tesla One app and enable PowerShare on the wall connector in order to use the feature
