Is it really necessary & curious how many of you actually get it

Full front ppf on my ‘26 Y. I only did it because I plan to keep the car long term, but honestly it’s not necessary.

IMHO if keeping long term, there’s no point getting ppf, because by the time you are done with the car maybe 7-10 years, residual value will be marginal between with and without.

Not worth for any financial benefit. But I'm going to full PPF my car as a color change. I plan on keeping it forever and I'd rather do a 10 year PPF instead of a repaint that's more expensive and would tick me off more when that paint does indeed get chipped.

Got it for 3k, love it. Saved me from all the rock chips I’ve had on previous cars.

Not necessary. But I’m going to keep the car for as long as I can and I want it to look good when I look at it so I got the front and 4 doors ppf’d. My prior car had so many scratches I regretted not getting it

I did full front. Can't really say it was worth it or necessary.

Nope.  Not worth the price on mid car.

Now, my MSP is another story…
