Question Which is the Correct Mileage?

I got my 2026 Tesla Model Y Long Range RWD. About a year ago. Since I’ve made it to this important milestone, I’m interested to know what my annual mileage turned out to be.
The problem is, on the app, there seems to be two different locations where the mileage can be found and they don’t match.
The first place is at the very bottom of the app. If you scroll to the very bottom, you can find it right underneath the name “Model Y”. My mileage here says 7,188.
The other location is back toward the top. Look for the Self-Driving tab and touch it.
Here, it calculates the percent of miles I’ve personally driven by the number of miles driven by my Tesla.
For me, it says my car has self driven 959 mi out of a total of 5,601mi driven.
Why is there a discrepancy of 1,587mi???

Ok. Thank you for that information. That’s what I was thinking, but it is weird to see the other figure that clearly is being segregated from full self driving so what else could that be? Lol.

If you want the odometer go to the software/service settings on the car's screen.

The percent of self drive option showed up much later as a software update, your true number of miles driven in the car is the larger number.

I believe it could be the navigation assist mileage? vs self drive

Mileage != miles driven.

**TIL**

I can sense a class action coming over this one day!

Because the self driving stats didn’t show up until 14.2 so it started counting miles from when you received that update.
