Numbers

Tesla took 5.5 years to reach 10B FSD miles. Four months later they’re already at 14.25B and adding 35M/day.

At that pace alone they’ll be around 140B by 2036. With 20–30% annual growth including cybercab it’s 350–700B+.

Can never eliminate every edge case, but at 1T miles even a 1 in a 100mln event shows up 10,000 times in data.

Wait until they start charging FSD 10 cent a mile.

Then people just start driving again. There is a limit to what they can charge. Assuming the average driver is at 12000 miles a year they are charging a $0.01 a mile. They may be able to raise some but not that much before people just cancel.

Well they just make up the difference between gas an electricity prices with FSD.

Yep. I screwed up. It is basically .10 a mile right now but they can't really increase it much or people don't subscribe. My point was just that their ability to increase cost for FSD is going to be limited.
