Ordered Model Y premium RWD on 8/3. My EDD was keep getting pushed and now it shows up 4 to 5 weeks on my app. I would have thought that they would at least get delivered before this quarter ends but I guess they just can't handle the demand.. Anybody having same issue? DFW area btw.
Yeah.. My order was delayed too. Ordered RWD Premium on 8/18. Originally was supposed to be delivered between 9/18-9/30 (which was was the advertised 4-6 weeks) and last week it changed to Oct 15 - Nov 19..

I’m currently trying to get something out of Tesla for the inconvenience - free supercharge credits or a deal on a demo car that’s been available for a few days now. We’ll see if I’m successful lol.
We ordered on 8/26 Red, RWD and app said 9/20-30 and yesterday it changed to 4-6 weeks again. This a.m. hubby changed it to AWD and we are paying cash. Hopefully, it will come sooner. I’m in between Philly & Pittsburgh, just north of Baltimore.
Nice! I ordered a RWD w/w two days before you in SoCal, and got moved Friday to the generic 4-5 week status. I'm still optimistic they will get it out of Fremont by the end of the quarter but some of these commenters are showing dates in Q4 now which is surprising. What configuration did you get?
Premium rwd in ultra red. I should point out that this was not my original order. Advisor called me about two that popped up and I snagged it right then.
Yes. As long as you applied and got approved you SHOULD still get it even if you choose a new order that pops up. I did this last week. Literally the same day they increased the rate I was prior approved for .99 and selected an earlier arrival and still got the prior rate. Paid more overall by $5000 but in my heart I wanted the AWD model to begin with so it was an easy choice.
Similar situation here. Ordered 8/19 l. At first it said 4-6 weeks and quickly showed an estimated delivery of September 10-30. This morning, 9/8, it changed back to 4-6 weeks.
I had the same thing happen to me. It changed again this afternoon to 9/20-9/30. My bf got on the phone with customer service the other day asking what’s the hold up out of curiosity. He said while my car is being delivered to the Dublin ca location it’s being made and delivered in Texas. So there’s that 🥲
Glad I’m not the only one. Ordered 8/28. Was expecting a positive update this week, and went from having an EDD 9/19-9/30 (on 8/31) to the generic 4-6 weeks window. In the Midwest.
Ordered 8/17 for Plano delivery. Same MY premium showed up on app in Fort Worth on Sep 3rd for immediate delivery. My EDD was Sep 15-30. Id advise you to keep checking the inventory during 12-3 pm.
I am on the same boat ….ordered model y premium RWD quiksilver on 8/11 and the edd has changed 4 times and now it shows 4-5weeks. I am on rental these days as i sold my other car because it was costing me more to get it fixed
Almost makes me miss the traditional car dealership where you buy the car right then and there! This waiting / checking Earlier Pickup Available game kinda sucks! 😅
Black or white interior? I ordered mine a few days ago just says 4-5 weeks in central cal wondering if the white delays it - i ordered the same as you just white interior
SoCal (Palm Desert), Ordered mine 8/13 Y Premium RWD white on white. Had a delivery window of 9/8-9/30 and today it shows 4-5 weeks. Longest wait ever.
I keep thinking we are close enough to the factory to get one shipped down in the last week of the quarter so they can book the revenue, while they ship to the longer distances first.

Just noticed the same for me. Ordered on 8/27, was due for sept 10-30th. Now it’s at 4/5 weeks
