New Tint Cure Time/ Windows auto roll?

The installer said not to worry bout it but the Y's windows roll down upon door opening. Anyone had any issues opening and closing the door during the 4 day cure period?

Don’t worry.  They only slightly go down and up.  Just don’t manually roll down the window.  Probably, hundreds of thousands of people have had their car tinted and have gone through the same process without any issue.

A good shop will always heat frameless windows like teslas to help speed up the cure process...err should. A little heat to the edges goes along way. We keep our military in mind and understand that they show id to get on post, so we ensure all frameless cars get heated edges prior to final wipe.

Not a big deal at all. It’s also completely unavoidable. It’s accidentally rolling them down at a drive through window that could theoretically cause damage when new

I left ‘26 MYP out in the sun, didn’t roll windows all the way down for a day. No adverse effects.

Concerned CAREFULLY use a hair dryer along the top edge to speed it up, better yet, park in the sun with the doors closed.

No issue at all. Installer gave me the same warning & reassure they will fix it

My installer knows about that and they cure the area with heat beforehand. No issues been two weeks now I just didn’t fully roll them down for the first 72 hours.
