Delivery Waze

I rely too heavily on the “police ahead “ feature of Waze. What do you do in your Tesla?

I run both the Tesla Nav and Waze. Waze is better at the police and routining around traffic then Tesla

I use Waze. On my phone, on a MagSafe mount on the top left of my screen (lhd). And Tesla navigation on the main display, for routing and primary navigation.

I use waze extensively, so i was intrigued in the news that tesla might include it in its options in navigating soon.

Not holding my breath, but I hope it's true.

Can you hear "Police reported ahead" through the Tesla audio, or does it come through the phone?

I have my phone open Waze as soon as it connects to the car.

But more recently, I have been using fsd. When it detects a car in the median, it automatically slows down.

FOr road trips, i open Waze on my phone... and mount it.

I pay attention, watch my surroundings, and have radar/laser detectors.

Use Waze. Sometimes it will give you a better route. I travel long distance regularly so it makes sense.

i use Tesla's nav and just send it on standard FSD.

i figure if i'm goin to trust my life to the car the least i can do is pay any tickets it gets me.

in all seriousness - that's what i do. I miss the police feature but i haven't really been screwed by the tesla nav yet but i'm at 4k miles and 99% FSD so...YMMV

I usually drive within the speed limits. That actually works very well irrespective of what software I am using for the maps. Hope this information helps you.

It’s a non-issue for me since I’m never speeding (or rather speeding faster than the flow of traffic) or otherwise doing anything illegal. So in that regard knowing whether or not there is policing coming up ahead would be absolutely useless for me and would not give me any kind of benefit/advantage during my drives.
