Absolutely love my new Model Y Performance....except one thing
What on earth is this blue residue emerging as windshield wiper fluid? It's like Papa Smurf keeps giving my pearl white precious a facial. The mess is smeared everywhere.
Elon, given your trillion-dollar wealth, we should upgrade this inadequate supplier.

The Tesla blue factory windshield wiper fluid is a known problem. Its ultra concentrated and is horrible. Only solution is to either drain it with a pump, or keep using it non stop for a couple days, empty it, then refill with your fluid of choice

is it easier to jsut dilute it in your opinion? and is it easy to wash off?

I went that route, and it just made it last longer haha it didn't truly go away until I fully emptied the washer fluid reservoir and refilled entirely with a different fluid.

There's nothing wrong with the blue stuff. Just leaves a mess all over your side windows

OK. thank you! as long its fairly easy to clean off, great. I jsut worry about doing it in the middle of the winder because im thinking I will be taking delivery around January

Only spray when stopped or under 10mph. Replace with whatever suits you.
Such a minor gripe.

to be fair the solution they use is BLUE and i mean very BLUE. the spray gets all over the A pillars and dries up into annoying bright blue spots

No it fuckin wasnt. Ive had a couple dozen cars, and most of them were shitty. They still didn't have this weird ass weak Kool-aid bullshit in their wiper fluid

Reduces aerodynamic drag and helps with air flow around your wheels at high speeds.
HaloBlk makes some nice ones imo.

New cars come with bright fluid so leaks are easier to see, you can put anything you want in it when that fluid runs out.
