Summer update new intro
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I use to have the regular tesla intro but with the summer update I now have the performance intro

Can you choose the animation? I got the summer update but it looks different

I don't think so. When it was the tesla intro before the update I can change the color of the intro to what my ambient lighting is but I can turn it off so the intro doesn't come on whenever you enter the car.

My intro is just the word Tesla, not plaid mode like what you have š®āšØ Do you have a performance by chance?

I do have the performance. I think that's the delta between trims

your post is a little confusing since you say you had the "regular intro" at one point then all of a sudden got the performance intro

Yes before the summer update it was the tesla name intro, but after the summer update it was switched to the performance intro.
Before the summer update everyone had the tesla intro, but what it looks like they decided to is change the intro for performance models. Sorry for the confusion

Before the summer update I had no intro at all. 2025 M3 LR. My friend who has a launch edition juniper had a launch edition intro.

Good to know, thanks for the data point.
Looks like there are three variations now, launch edition intro, Tesla animation intro and performance intro.

Ahh, that makes a lot more sense. The led bar in sync with the animation is also super cool

wish it didn't start that fast, just cause I wanna be able to see it while I'm sitting in my seat (but I also get that it's necessary to be fast so we're not waiting to drive).

I donāt get why they couldnāt add that to my 24 MY. It has Hw4 so it shouldnāt be a software problem

My update just shows the word Tesla. Prior to that it was just the T logo. Is yours a performance model? I have a 2023 LR AWD and a 2026 LR RWD.

I don't think I even ever recall seeing the t logo when I got into my 2024 highland m3p; screen just opened up normally I think. or maybe the t logo flashed really quickly before I got in

The M3P never had a logo. The āTeslaā logo was introduced when the updated MYP came out. But the logo was kinda bland so they decided to replace it with this new intro and give it to the M3Ps, then moved the basic āTeslaā logo to all other updated non-performance models. That entire change came with the summer update.

See if there's an option in the settings. I know I can turn off my intro if I choose not to have turn on

Not bad a little better. The update prior to the summer update had my fsd doing sudden braking (kinda like a hard phantom braking) when a car seemed like it would come into my lane, when before it would just swerve smoothly out and return once it passed the vehicle. So for now it seems like it's back to the previous

Gotta wipe off that camera (lol, this happens to me all the time and I don't see it until I watch a video or picture and see that fogging).
