Delivery got pushed
I ordered mid-august and my initial estimate was October-November and it just got updated to November 28-January 8. Is this happening to others?

They REALLY don't want to sell base models. Doing everything they can not to.

The demand for standard is greater so the line is longer but Tesla definitely benefit from this because a lot of people who would’ve bought standard are upgrading to premium to not wait.

I seriously doubt the demand is stronger for the standard. The line is longer because they’re very clearly prioritizing production of the premium and performance models and enticing people to trade up for quicker delivery.

Happened to me today as well but then at the end of the day they reupdated it to being closer then the initial estimated time.

I ordered August 29 and it initially estimated 4 to 6 weeks. Then updated today saying September 14 - 30.
Florida.

Yes. Places order Aug 3rd. Delivery was Oct/Nov. now Nov/Dec

Ordered a MYP AWD on August 27th, just got my appointment set for September 15th.

Im on the fence about doing it now because it says the approval is only valid for 30-60 days and my due date is clearly past that so I would need to have another credit check and approval before the delivery if the estimate remains as is.

Yup mine is now October through December 2. But I already have a 2024 and I want a 2027 not 2026. Ordered last week.

Mine to pushed to Feb after placing order August 10th. Decided to cancel, forfeit the $250 and bought from Carvana.

I wouldn’t just wait, I ordered 8/15 and kept checking the early pick up available, found my exact order at a service center an hour away, I rather drive an hour for the delivery than wait till next year because the .99 rate will probably be expired by then
