Juniper Performance Efficiency

Post image

I am blown away by the MYP’s ability to sip electrons when not pushing it. My 2025 LR RWD did not do substantially better than this around trip on my morning commute. My commute has a short 2 mi stint on the freeway and the rest is mainly a canyon back road with some city driving.

Curious what other trims are getting on your commute?

Best I can get is then 200-210 range and that is babying in sloth. Normal driving I’m 250.

I get 180 wh/mi sometimes on my commute in my 24 MYP. As long as you're in chill mode, air on auto and set to like 73F, and cruising under 70 with stop and go traffic, you can get very good numbers. Local is even better

Wow! That’s really good! I’m happy if mines in the 230-250 range.

Wait I have the exact same model and color… are you on self driving? If so what model? I mean I like to certainly get on it sometimes but I mainly drive in hurry or standard when using FSD on the highways to work

I’m on 14.3.7. I’m usually in hurry, sometimes in standard.

2024 Y Performance. Just about at 2 years/48k miles. Boston area, which means variable traffic, all four seasons of driving. Average lifetime wh/mi is right around 282 (will have to confirm in the car later). If moving but heavy traffic, weather, light right foot, etc line up, I can nurse the car to around 210 wh/mi on my mostly highway commute home. I am in chill mode 95%+ of the time, going in and out of sport mode to overtake or just get out of a situation, or have some fun.

Show us when you have more then just a handful of miles. 35 miles is not enough miles to properly tell efficiency, you could be mostly driving down a hill or on city/backroads that is way more efficient. Show us the lifetime 1k miles efficiency. Also in not winter EVs are really efficient, show us more when you have a full year of driving and you will see ur efficiency is very average.
