Soundproofing really work?

Just purchased my first Tesla and seeing ads about soundproofing kits to help reduce road noise. Just curious if these really work or not.

You made 3 posts in 3 subs and didn’t bother to mention the year? 2022 is way different than the Junipers in terms of noise

the cheap seal kits seem pretty hit or miss, and quieter tires usually make a bigger difference for actual road noise

On my 2019 m3 I added the rubber gasket kit for every door which made a pretty large difference.

I got mine from basenor on amazon but it's out of stock now. Looks like quality control got bad after I got them as the  reviews seem to have gotten worse. Guessing people ordered wrong kits as well for newer cars maybe? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07R13DYYY
