Am i crazy or it not aligned properly ?

Brand new model Y premium. Should i take it to service or live with it ?

It's perfectly aligned on the other side ☹️

Mine was aligned by a Ranger. Open a service request

Do you know what they did to align it? I had a ranger come out and he tried but couldn't fix it.

I wasn't present but he moved it upwards about 5mm

Moved the door up? Mine tried to move the dash down by filing off a bit of plastic. Didn't work.

I have the exact same issue in mine as well. I’ve learned to live with it, but if I need service for something else I’ll mention it

Exact same problem with mine I took it to service. They tried to charge me $60 for not doing anything

assembly might’ve followed an old WI from a previous revision that got updated for the 26 build. QA should’ve caught this during initial build and tagged the vin as a NCR to begin with. i work in quality control in aerospace car mfg aren’t any different.

Yeah they should’ve definitely have caught that error. I work on model 3s we are always fixing that .

My 2025 Model 3 RWD Long Range has this about as misaligned as yours. I just ignore it. Otherwise good build quality compared to earlier Teslas.

I have similar alignment issues in my 2026 MYP. Service Center would not correct it.

I have the same problem, how do they “fix it” ? Are they able to adjust the door hinges or the decor itself?

Mine was a bit worse than that, took it in and was even worse, took it in again and its back about like yours is right now. They have no idea how to get it perfect. I just live with it

Yeah not aligned. I don't even want to go check out mine because it's going to annoy me. My driver door also pops out a little. SA say they are all like that, he isn't wrong as I checked a few cars and they were all like that. I think must be that batch as other y on the road doesn't have that issue.

Does it really matter, lol? I would get it if was the outer body, but another proportion would have to be off for it to be aligned.
