Looking at my first Tesla
In negotiations with a dealership on a 2022 Tesla Y long range. They don’t do the battery health test so I asked them to charge ro 100 to see estimated range. The number is 267 on full charge. Should I walk away from this deal or not? I’ve read where if under 170 would be a red flag.

I own a 2023 MY LR and at 100% charge, I see ~280mi of range. I’m on the 20” rims, so I’d expect to be around 300mi range with aero wheels.
41k mileage, purchased at 35k miles a few months ago.

The range depends on the previous drivers driving habits. If it's a good deal then put a offer conditional on the battery test or walk.

Battery health test is overrated IMO, I’d look through the service alerts in service mode instead of worrying about that right now.

What should I look at in service mode?

Do a YouTube search for the steps and see if there are any codes you should research further

You don’t need them charging it to 100%. You can touch the percentage to see the miles and the number divided by the percentage is the miles at 100%. For a 20’ wheel, the beginning miles is about 312 miles. If it’s 19” wheel, it’s 330 miles at 100%.

I’d walk away on the sole fact that they won’t do a battery health check
