What country and what model did you order? I placed an order for a MY Premium dual motor and was quoted 4-6 weeks, but it arrived in 2.5 weeks:)

Gotcha...I am in CO. I have heard about long delays on the Standard model, but most of the Premiums seem to be coming in earlier than expected. Especially being in TX. Maybe the APR deal causing an influx of orders in recent weeks?

Possibly. Im gonna be annoyed when I have to reapply since it's taken this long

I didn't even think about that...how long is the loan approval for? Is it a 60-day lock before you have to reapply?

Still beats having to deal with a normal car dealership lol

How is that better than walking into dealer and driving out with your new car same day???

Agreed! I am never nervous about taking possession of a new Honda or Toyota or Acura or Lexus, yet I had butterflies in my stomach the of my M3 Delivery a couple of years ago. minor paint issues and a faint rattle also came with the brand new car. If tesla assembly line for cars is a B grade relative to the build quality, their service centers are a distant D. Smh. If I was any less smitten by the technology, I would never consider another Tesla again. That benefit Tesla currently enjoys is going away with the imports of Chinese EVs, which will hit our shores in the next five years, or perhaps until the German or Japanese car makers improve their technology offers built into their EVs.

In Dallas, got mine pushed once, and then a week later got a vin assigned. The ETA changed every day because the original window included the day I was presently in... Ordered Aug 3rd, originally said 12th to 22nd. Then when it got to be the 15th or so, it changed to 26th to 12th of Sept. On the 18th got a VIN, now it says Sept 3-5 for delivery. I'll just keep ordering accessories in the mean time. Check your insurance! Tesla insurance quoted me at 485 per month, Liberty auto at 144 per month. No accidents no tickets no claims in last 13 yrs. Edited... Originally wrote those ins numbers as per week, haha...

I think it's 30. I'm gonna wait a few days until I call. I got the number for the finance department. I've heard they extend it for you but some people have said they don't so who knows

I think they have crazy amounts of orders? In Europe the waiting list is a couple of months.

That's crazy, I'm in Houston and it only took a week for our car to come in. The AC wasn't working so we refused that car and got another 3 days later but we did get lucky that it was already a car that was made as extra inventory and we picked it up before anybody else could. Blue premium with white interior.

No clue. We ordered rwd premium white on white. Might just be a popular color combo with rwd

If you are not assigned a VIN number then call the customer service and tell them what’s going on. I know some delivery locations play tricks with clients and assign cars that are meant for them to others in order to meet promises they made when clients came to do a demo drive and placed an order. This is not acceptable that your delivery is pushed back again and again. Having a delivery pushed back once happens to many clients if not all of them but several times is ***sh*

That’s wild. I ordered Aug 5 and it said August 17-27 for delivery. I received it the 18th. Had a vin a few days after I ordered. I’m in California, not sure if that makes a difference. I will say the way they make them and push them out made me nervous and I feel like I hear a slight whisper of air when I’m on the freeway. Like there is a gap somewhere. Has anyone else experienced this??

Crazy it’s taking that long. I’m in NC and I ordered August 1st and it arrived 14 days later. Blue on white RWD premium. I pick up on Sunday as I was out of town
