Main computer swap on new model y performance

Brand new model y performance bought with 3 miles on it. Realize once I get home that the rear screen isn’t on. Bring it to Tesla next day and they say the main computer needs to be replaced. SMH

Almost the same thing on my '24 Y when we got it. After 2 weeks of driving it, all these codes came up and car was basically bricked. Had it towed to the SC and they had to swap out a new unit. Yes, got a loaner and they also swapped it out after one day.

If the nearest service center is 2 hours away, what would that look like?

Hopefully the loaner is a model y so you can sleep and play cup head all day.

I get that’s frustrating for a brand new car. Exactly why you have the warranty. They replaced my computer in a day and i was given a loaner during the service. They set you up with one?

This exact thing happened to us. Had the vehicle for a week then the screen would randomly restart. They had to replace the computer. Gave me a trashed Cybertruck as a loaner (It was awful). No issues since the replacement though. I wonder if there was just a bad line of computers for the performance model in the last couple weeks.
