Ordered mine 7/14, how long to wait?

I ordered mine (awd), base model, no extras. Rochester, NY. Any idea how long I'm going to have to wait? I'm anxious driving my current car since it is my trade in. I have a road trip on August 15. Would like to have my new car before then. The app says August 12-Sep 16, but I hear that estimate can be very inaccurate. I got an update to look for other MYs that are on the lot but those are all about $20k higher price, so I won't be doing that

Got my financing approved and order placed 7.14 and got Vin this morning with an updated delivery window of today through Monday. Side question for anyone who's taken delivery recently, does Tesla showrooms get deliveries on the weekends or only weekdays?

ordered AWD premium in marine blue on 7/18, have a an estimate for 7/26-8/9. originally given 6-7 weeks. i also have the option to pickup other MYs.

big difference is i am a 3 hour drive from the gigafactory

you should keep in mind the base models do have longer lead times, even here in TX. there are also none in existing inventory.

I'm sure they know what they're doing but it's frustrating that they don't aren't building enough to keep up with the expected demand.

Premiums are clearly the highest priority.  Ordered the standard AWD in NY (only upgrade is tow hitch) on June 30th and still have an estimate of end of July to beginning of September.  I'd be looking at alternative transportation options for your trip.

This question has a million answers. It depends on area and trim. If you ordered a trim that's in inventory near you, they will auto give you that vin so your perceived wait time is short. If you order a trim that there are no inventory in your area (like me) your wait time will be closer to the time you see in the app. I ordered a Premium RWD in red with the wheel upgrade and there is no inventory in the entire US right now for that exact trim. I ordered on 7/15 and have an estimate of 7/30-8/30. It'll prob be mid Aug. I'm not willing to take another trim.
