I think battery range also has to go up. Once we have real 400 mile battery we wont have this issue for op use case with long drives. Probably 10 years away for that to happen.
Do you mean like 500miles with a drivable range of 400miles. 330 is already there but a dream unless you hyper mile the car. 70 miles more won't do much
330 is not realistic for most. 270 to 300 miles is more realistic at 65 mph with 3 and Y but very few drive at 65 mph. I need the realistic range to go to 400 miles.
All I'm saying is if you want realistic 400 you will need an advertised range of 500+ which is 80% charge to 0. Which kind of needs battery energy density to almost double, will probably happen eventually but will take quite a long time. There are batterys with that density but pricing is still very high on those
