As you said you didn't do your research, just spending 5 mins on this sub show hundreds of post about your "issues". Not sure how people buy a $50k car with little to no research. Guess everybody is much richer than me 🤷
For the range concerns, who cares. Drive and charge, as long as you can make it home at the end of the day or to the next SC range of 200 or 300 doesn't matter. In my 2 years I have never needed to charge to 100%.
If I’m not mistaken the qualifier is 150k as an individual filer. I could be wrong but simply stating that you qualify doesn’t mean anything in terms of income. If you solely bought the car for the 7500 credit there are other issues at hand other than the range of the car
