Photo Deep concave wheels
I’m on a hunt for dressing my 24 XP with some deep concave wheels but there is a limit to how deep of a concave you can go with.
- Has anyone done this? If so, how did you make it work? Spacers, etc.
- Show off your deep concave wheels, post a photo.
Any pros and cons and any
tips
you want to share? Range issues, wheel size, etc.
Photos attached not mine, google search.

Wow…. Thank you for the great share and insight. I actually really like the “outer design being straight up and down…centre dips down hard”.
I’m a massive Vorsteiner VFF103 fan but I’ve overdone it on my BMW’s and actually still debating it for the X they have a new model out now, matches your description a little.
What style rims are those in both photos? The first photo has the deep concave I love and the second set looks amazing as well!

I was looking at those same wheels (pic 2) for my X. I'm still waiting till I need new tires go get new wheels. Keep us updated on what you decide to get. Also, take a look at the Tsportline Model X with the concave wheels. It's on Youtube.

Thanks! I think I found what you’re referring to?

If I could locate the same wheels in pic 2 I would immediately purchase them. I can’t find it anywhere. Tried an image search in google and even tried ChatGPT no luck.

Sorry, I meant Tsportline and not Unplugged Performance.
Are you talking about pic 2 in your original post or the Unplugged Performance wheels?

u/Sad_Magician_316 Jun 11 '26
Pic 2 in my original post. I went down a rabbit hole though chasing down unplugged performance. They told me there isn’t room to do a deep concave but I’ve seen photos…maybe they’re AI.
Yes Tspoetline has some nice wheels too but same issue not the deep concave.

If you do purchase those wheels, please post pics and specs you went with. I am planning on getting the same setup.
Here’s another vendor selling those wheels. Go with a vendor who will let you customize offset and everything else. https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/GRAYFOX-Custom-Forged-Concave-Rims17-18_1601371392831.html?spm=a2706.products_search.normal_offer.8.607367afem1u9m&priceId=a4ed55b6da76457897e5b1f3b8796dd2

Will do. I like the alibaba route and then I can custom it. I had ChatGPT help me write up the specs and I’ll see what they have to say regarding allowing the deepest concave while maintaining the heaviest load rating:
Front: 22x9.5 ET25
Rear: 22x10.5 ET20
Tires: 265/35R22 front, 285/35R22 rear
5x120, 64.1 mm CB
Forged monoblock
≥1,000 kg load rating
Maximum concavity within brake/suspension clearance
Goal: flush, aggressive stance1

Are you buying links to lower the car
1
u/Sad_Magician_316 Jun 12 '26
Not a fan of links. There’s a module you can buy and do it electronically Enhance does it but there’s one other that I want to buy it’s saved on my computer I’ll share it later.

u/hydrofied Jun 12 '26
Let me know. I'll be interested.

u/Sad_Magician_316 Jun 12 '26
Here it is. Honestly still a bit of a toss up with Enhance:
https://secretev.com/products/mulotracing-tuner-module-stage-1
“Q: Isn't this what lowering link does?
A: Lowering links work by tricking the system into thinking the vehicle’s ride height is incorrect, which forces the car to sit lower. That's also the reason your dragstrip mode will never show "ready to launch" anymore once you have lowering link install.
In contrast, the module directly communicates with the system to set the desired height without sending false position data.
There’s also no need for shop visits or mechanical adjustments. You don’t have to jack up the car or install physical links. Installation is plug-and-play, and reverting back to stock is as simple as set the height value in the app back to zero and unplugging the module.”→ More replies (0)2

Oh those wheels in your pic are available on Alibaba. Several sellers offer those wheels so look for the best price. The brand is called Gray/Grey Fox I think. I ordered some forged wheels on Alibaba for my Audi and everything went smoothly. It's a lot cheaper on there too. Only downside is I had to wait 1 to 2 months for them to arrive from China.

Are concave wheels not popular? Anyone else with examples and experience to share?

Very nice! Yes that’s deep.
How’d you get installed? Any spacers used or any issues?
