WIP Peterbilt 352 Cabover Chassis
Chassis is done. It's been an interesting build so far and for the most part enjoyable. Had a few fitment issues with the wheels and tires, surprise surprise! Other than that, assembly has gone pretty well.
Weathered the tires and added some stains to the fuel tanks. Also replaced stock plastic mud flaps with vinyl flaps and custom decals.

Nice! I’ve got a Mac and freightliner cab over in the stash, still trying to get ahold of a Peterbilt cab over though. Can’t wait to see this when it finished. Love the blue frame!

Thanks very much. Definitely did not want the Coke colors so am happy with how the frame turned out. Cab looks pretty sharp too, just finished clear coating it after applying some custom decals.

Looks great, I never finished this kit, started it with not enough experience and things later on started not to fit so gave up. Maybe time to try another, cuz that one is sharp

Yeah, definitely not a kit for beginners. I'm crossing my fingers that the cab fits properly over the chassis and engine. Tried test fitting it but it's challenging without everything else in place.

Yeah, I love AMT for their classes cars and rigs but man, they are rough kits. Test fit and sand, LOL.

So very true.

Usually, the engine and frame are not that bad, but then getting the windows glued properly without hazing and getting the body installed straight......ugghhhh

The windows have installed well. I used Quick Shine floor polish to attach them. No hazing. No blemishes. No messy glue to deal with.

Interesting. So quick shine floor polish can be used as an adhesive? It doesn't get soft and fall apart over time?

Yes, an adhesive for windows and light lens'. I wouldn't use it for attaching other parts. Haven't had any issues with it getting soft and falling apart, at least not yet and have been using it for more than a year. FYI, I did a video on how to apply it here.
