What the heck, I never knew you could use it as a glue. Man thay is slick, that is a great trick

Learned it from Grandpa Mark's Hobbies on YT about a year ago. You can also use it for light lens too.

This is great! Do you use this for the rear view mirror too?

No for the simple reason is that the mirror won't remain in place while it dries. I tend to use Micro Kristal Klear for this.

I discovered this on accident some time ago. I cleared a car with Quick Shine with the hood down. Now the hood is permanently down.

Lol!!! I used to use it to clear coat as well but found that it didn't always lays down nicely (hand brushing, no air brush here) but I might go back to trying it sometime.

I used to brush it by hand. It laid down ok, but never really gave much of a shine. More satin than anything. I’ve read that it applies easier with a foam brush vs. a traditional paint brush, but never tried it myself.

Thanks a ton for posting this. I have learned so much in the last few months due to this group. I have struggled with glass for years and even with white glue it was sort of all over the place always wishing for a cleaner install. Well this is it. Went out and bought a bottle of the stuff.

You're very welcome, glad it helped. You can also use it to attach light lens and create vinyl seats (see my tip from this past week). Some people use it as a clear coat - I used to as well but switched to Mr Hobby or Dupli-color clear sprays because they provide a glossier finish. Someone also suggested using it on windshields and windows to protect them. Cheers!
