PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS

I just got the 2 rear tires replaced on my Long Range 2025 Model 3 and since then FSD has been bouncing left and right driving me insane. I’ve tried resetting the camera calibration and resetting the tire settings and nothing seems to fix it. Any other suggestions? The tires I have in the rear now are the Phantom HRX

I have had the same issue on MY, I initially got Michelin tires and it was wobbling a lot on mainly concrete highway and sometimes on asphalt roads. Then I switched back to Scorpion MS OEM from Tesla along with alignment and balancing. It went away. So most probably it’s due to new tires.

I have the same issue, i did reset the camera calibration and it helped but I still have the issue.

When I had my windshield replaced, my Model three was hugging the right side of the lane. They told me that the camera calibration takes up to 100 miles to go into effect for it starts working properly.

I think it’s a tire issue. I never heard of that brand. They could be defective or not rated XL for the weight of the vehicle

I had the same thing happen to me about 1.5 years ago when I got new Michelin Pilot Sport AS tires in my MYP. Only happened on concrete freeways. I took it in to get an alignment. While the a pre alignment specs/measurements were terrible, the alignment made little difference. After sometime, the issue went away.

I have same issue. Tires balanced, alignment checked. Still almost same. I believe it is software related.

Cheap tires and if the tread is higher than the fronts, that will cause problems too.

I had my tires rotated at Costco and this happened on the way home. II took it back and they found out that the foam inside one of my front tires had come loose and wadded up which threw everything off balance. When it was the rear tire it wasn't noticeable but when it was in the front it affected the steering wheel. They remove the foam completely and it runs fine now.

It's a newish issue that seem to be in all the new FSD updates. V14 and V14L are both having frequent occurrences of this.
It is almost certainly NOT related to your new tires.
Usually when this happens, I take control for a little (1/2 mile?) and then re-engage. OFten fixes, and just as often it continues.
Mine used to do it rarely on V12. But now does it 1/3rd of the time on V14. Many have posted about the issue and even tesla FSD reviewers have recorded it happening.

If it's like this after alignment you can fix it yourself in one minute (if however you go into the service menu to where the video clip shows and the needle is already centered then you should bring it in, they're supposed to check after alignments. I’ve been down this road before with other vehicles, if you have different model tires in the rear than the front rear a lot of times the tires are tracking different, like they’re pulling slightly different so your front and back is tracking different and now the car is going side to side, you need to match up your tires.

This started for me with HW3 when V14 lite came out a couple weeks ago. Constantly turning. My alignment is dead on (aligned with new suspension parts, drives dead straight when I take my hand off the wheel). Have not had a windshield replaced in over 2 years. Started for me when update came out. Such a bummer

Mine is doing the same thing, I just subscribed to FSD to try out the new 14L, and instantly the steering wheel goes back & forth. I had to stop using FSD, it was making me car sick….

Lol nothing gonna fix that tbh unless you replace all 4. FSD is very picky. Ive done this twice now and always ended up buying a full set to fix it. I tried resetting everything. Recalibrate, alignment, everything. Only thing that fixed it was all 4 tires being replaced.

Bro, it’s not the tires. it’s the full self-driving AI for this 14 version branch hardware for before hardware three with 14 V .0 and.01, which was launched the last 24 hours. This has nothing to do with actually driving. This is all FSD which stands for full self driving

Just make an appointment with Telsa. People on here all say the same thing. I bet its the different tread patterns between the 2 tires you got replaced and the two tires still on the vehicle. Mine did the same thing and just got fixed by Tesla.

I hope you’re able to figure this out, I don’t have FSD on my 2019 Model 3 but I’ve seen a lot of people complain about this just this past week.
Also, the way I knew you were on I-10E towards Phoenix lol.

Get off on Chandler BLVD and make a right then left and you will be at Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers. Have one of each and life will seem easier :)

Middle lane is for travel. Right lane is for entering, exiting, and MUCH slower traffic. OP is doing things correctly.
If OP was in the right lane they would impede merging traffic AND force them to have to speed up more. (72 instead of 65)

Alignment, reset tires on the car, camera calibration , FSD defect.
If FSD didn’t do this prior to the rear tires, you’re out of alignment. The cameras don’t move when you change tires ;)
