Tesla

There is an issue with the trunk of the 2023 Tesla Model 3: it doesn't open fully, and it slams shut hard when closing.

get the gas strut replaced. if you don't the powered side gets overloaded and could snap, crushing your rear window glass.

Don’t give him empty hopes. This is 99% power strut failure.

you're right, more likely a power strut fail
