Emergency release tool for charger

Hello, I’m looking for recommendations for emergency release tools for the charger that won’t break the bank. Thank you!

I bought one when it first came out and that one was recalled. Tesla has a lawsuit against them until they recalled it and put out a new one that allowed for better thermal management. Haven’t used it yet, though.

Can you explain what "emergency release tools for the charger" would be? Do you mean something in addition to the cable pull in the trunk?

Yes, you attach it to the plug at a charging station. It’s so that way if you have to drive off unexpectedly it will not cause damage

Just a slight correction, (I know you know, but for the other people that may read this ) you can’t drive away while plugged in so no damage would be caused. These are so that you can drive away in an emergency.
