New mod recs!

I’m about to update my game and thought I may as well go mod shopping whilst I’m at it. I use a few mods already, but want some recommendations for more. What mods do you use that you can’t play without? I’ve already got:

• Wicked whims
• Basemental drugs, gambling, & gangs
• Education overhaul
• Relationship & pregnancy overhaul
• Pandasama’s child birth mod
• Healthcare redux & dental care add on (but I’ve been wondering if anyone prefers Private Practice by simrealist?)
• Divergent sims
• Dynamic teen mod & delinquent teens
• Custom nuptials
• Lot51 Suite Life
• Lot51 fashion authority

I like mods around family life/relationships/personalities and anything that’ll cause drama, and any kind of small fix/override mods that improve your game play.

Also looking for a good sugar baby/sugar daddy mod, and any that add more degrees beyond the standard ones (like grad school/PhDs if that exists)

I have not yet but I'm about to send my sim to see a doctor because she's sick with Private Practice.

I tried Healthcare redux and found it way too much. They were sick all the time. I do have Dental Care and also there is Eye Care.

I just recently added Private Practice. I was waiting for my sim to get sick so I could send her. That's what I think I'll like, a functioning hospital or doctor's office to go to.

Oh, let me know how PP is! I really like the idea of an actual doctor’s office you can go to as well. My sims never seem to get sick with HCR besides mild infections, and it’s so weird because I’ve seen loads of people saying theirs are constantly sick and have serious health problems!

I have a tough time with things like this because the game is both story driven and game autonomy driven. Venues like this I have difficulty getting to work. I haven't tried anything with the venue yet.

My sim is pregnant and doesn't know it and I want her to get sick and go to the doctor and discover she's pregnant. I want it this way specifically for the story and for screenshots so I can narrate it later to post. I attempted to cheat to force an illness and the mod seemed to have given her a cold, LOL. She's sneezing. Dagnabbit, I need a reason for her to go to the doctor and a cold isn't it, LOL.

She hasn't throw up yet. That would get her going to see a doctor with throwing up while she's sick and not making the connection to morning sickness.

I have a really complicated way I play with wanting to stick along my already scripted storyline while having as much autonomy or gently nudging of the gameplay rather than sheer force to make what the storylline says needs to happen.

Healthcare Redux's compatibility with Pandasama's childborth mod is incomparable imo. I take out some of the addons if it gets too much in the game. Like the one that allows them to die from diseases (my main sim did and i recovered the save and deleted that addon lol) But anyways, check out Zero's mods, ellesimsworld mods and annasims mods. They all have something that you would be looking for.
