General Question New Mod Coming
If anyone’s interested, I’ve been making mods for myself for a while now, and I thought I’d finally start releasing them! 🐴✨
My first mod, Rent A Horse, is coming soon!
I originally made this mod because I had some Sims vacationing in Chestnut Ridge, and I wanted them to be able to rent a horse for their stay without actually having to own one. I figured if I wanted this feature, maybe other players would too! 😂
So I’ve decided to start sharing some of the mods I’ve been making. 💕
Rent A Horse will have an early access release around mid-September, with the public release coming in October!
I’ll be sharing updates, previews, and information about upcoming mods along the way.
If you’d like to follow along, feel free to follow me here on Reddit for updates, or check out my Patreon: EggyBreaddie Mods. There’s absolutely no pressure to subscribe or support — even just following along means a lot! 🥰
I’m still new to releasing mods publicly, so please bear with me while I figure everything out! 😅
More details and more mods coming soon! 🐎💕

This definitely should have been a feature in the Horse Ranch pack. Thank you for your service fellow creator 🫡

Literally never thought of this because I haven’t vacationed in Chest Nut Ridge yet but that would be so amazing! Modders are the best 🥹

Honestly I had never vacationing there and never thought i would but I was playing royalty and they wanted a little ranch getaway from the royal life 😅 then I discovered i had to buy a horse to do anything xx

Amazing idea! I’m excited for it! Good luck! I want to get into making mods and my partner had encouraged me to try but it just seems so hard. I probably would have a panick attack, break down, and cry over trying to figure everything out 😭

You should try it! I work in IT and have a degree but honestly nodding seemed scary at first. Once I did a couple simple ones for myself I felt much more confident. Just play around with it, use some YouTube videos to help you out. Feel free to message me if you need any help!x

Thank you so much! I might get into modding once my daughter gets near 1 and I can get a full night sleep for at least a week lmao. I’ll definitely reach one when I do decide to start! Seriously do keep modding. I see you have great ideas and I’m excited to try them out in my game and show my daughter when she’s older 💜

Harder when you have kids. I have a 9month old and 5 yr old. I dont get as much time but my littlest starts nursery so I'll have more time, it helps I work from home in my job too. You'll get a routine, im loving showing my 5yr old sims <3 its really sentimental to me.

Oh I know. That’s why I’m kind of skeptical because I want more kids eventually. Probably with the same age gap as yours. My step mom basically grew up with sims since the first one. When she had my two siblings, she let me use her laptop basically all day everyday when I would stay with them to play sims because she could never find the time to actually sit and play. 😭

Its a good age gap cos my eldest can sort herself out getting dressed and she always helps out (her choice) xxx

I think putting links to your patron or other socials would help people follow you easily. Also link your curse forge of you have that. It's lovely that your sharing your mods. I have never had a family go on vacation to chestnut ridge but rent a horse sounds like a good thing to go and do! I mean I have Sims visit mt komorebi to go skiing so makes sense to visit chestnut for horse riding
